£9m in Productivity
When seeking out the ways to drive efficiencies we always balance the opportunity alongside the team impact and the guest experience to ensure growth is sustainable.
Our client had bought some software for scheduling and had implemented it poorly, I was asked to explore the potential of the system to drive business benefits.
After a discovery period, we shared the opportunities for the company. Working with cross functional team, we developed sustainable ways of working, a shift in culture, both in the operational team and support centre to ensure the benefits were achieved.
We have delivered a £9million saving in operations in year 1 whilst improving the guest and team experience scores.
Asset Utilisation
900% LFL Sales
We developed a Grade II listed site, creating a completely new environment and proposition with a complete transformation and reconfiguration of the space to ensure that we maximised sales and profitability whilst creating a great experience for the team and guests. ​

We developed a food and drink offer that stood out in the market place, creating occasions and an environment that moved effortlessly from morning coffee, to dinner and late night drinks and despite its grandeur, ensured that visitors felt comfortable whatever their reason to visit. The repositioning and redevelopment of the business grew sales 900%.

Engineering
Develop & Scale
A premium food brand, whilst the proposition was good and the handful of sites was performing well on sales, the sites were inconsistent in operational delivery and financial performance and the brand was unprofitable and at risk of closure.
​
After a discovery period, we developed standard operating procedures in all departments to ensure that operational inefficiencies were ironed out. We were able to maintain all of the strengths of the concept but we developed a culture that enabled the business to achieve its ambitions for all stakeholders, once stabilised I led the operational teams through the investment programme to circa 20 sites.
​
They now operate 126 restaurants.
Concept Development
45% ROI
We created a new pub dining brand - hot housed the concept to 19 sites and delivered a collective ROI of 45%.

We developed the menu and kitchens to enable the teams to deliver great food quality at high volume, and created a visitor experience that ensured that it felt welcoming to all, be it a quick drink or a celebration.

We were able to stand out in the market place by ensuring we behaved differently to our competitors, be that by creating exceptional experiences.

The brand now has over 140 sites throughout the UK
